The Yale Library has a trial subscription to Vital Statistics on American Politics for the month of September. This database includes statistical tables covering elections and political parties, campaign finance and political action committees, public opinion and voting, the media, Congress, the presidency and executive branch, the judiciary, federalism, foreign military policy, social policy, and economic policy. Long time series (e.g. many years of data) are available for several topics. Tables can be downloaded in Excel or CSV format.
