New Databases and Article Searching pageThe Yale University Library has debuted a new interface for its research databases. Use this page to find databases by name or to browse for a database from an A to Z list. From the Find Database page users can easily find and go directly to the database they want to search.
In addition, new functionality has been added that allows searches of several databases at one time. These simultaneous searches can be done in two different ways.
In QuickSearch, fifteen subject-specific predefined sets of databases are available for easy searching.
Users who want to choose the databases to search can do this on the Multi-Database Search page.
In Multi-Database Search, first choose a subject and then a sub-category. From the list of databases available, check those databases you wish to search.
In both QuickSearch and Multi-Database Search, the search results from the various databases are brought back into a single search interface. From those results users can find out if online fulltext is available by using the Yale Links button.
