New government-related trial databases now available onlineTrial access to two databases from CQ Press is now available through July 28:
Congress and the Nation
and
Historic Documents
Both are online editions of long-published print resources.
Congress and the Nation covers events, trends, and controversies in the U.S. Congress and the presidency. It provides in-depth review and analysis of legislation and policy during each Congressional session and presidential term. The online edition covers all existing print editions, which span 1945-2004.
Historic Documents presents primary source documents covering the most significant events of each year (1972-present). These documents range from presidential speeches, international agreements, and Supreme Court decisions to U.S. governmental reports, scientific findings, and cultural discussions. Documents are preceded by introductions providing historical and intellectual context.
Both databases are part of the CQ Electronic Library (http://library.cqpress.com/index.php). Within that suite we already subscribe to CQ Weekly, CQ Researcher Plus Archive, Politics in America, and Washington Information Directory.
