How can I find an FAO document?

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) sales publications that Yale owns are catalogued in Orbis. Yale has been an FAO depository library since 1947. Some of the FAO publications are shelved in the Kline and Forestry Libraries; some are shelved in the Mudd Library or in the Library Shelving Facility (must be requested for on campus delivery).

Search the FAO Catalogue Online to identify FAO working papers and documents. Many of the current materials are available as full text online, but the earlier publications may only be available on microfiche. The Government Documents and Information Center has a comprehensive collection of FAO documents and publications issued between 1978 and 1997 on microfiche.

See below a sample record. Note the microfiche number.
